Conklin Center executive director appointed by Gov. Scott to Florida Rehabilitation Council for the Blind

DAYTONA BEACH, FL --  Gov. Rick Scott announced Sept. 21the reappointment of Robert T. Kelly, executive director of Conklin Center for the Blind, to the Florida Rehabilitation Council for the Blind for a term ending Aug. 31, 2019.

Kelly has served as executive director for the Conklin Center since 2000 and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with more than 35 years of experience in direct service and administration of services for people who are blind and visually impaired.

The Florida Rehabilitation Council for the Blind reviews, analyzes & advises on the policy decisions and evaluates the effectiveness of the Florida Division of Blind Services to ensure meaningful access to and use of vocational rehabilitation and independent living programs for Floridians who are blind or visually impaired.
